News in Review - March 2008 The Manley Report on Afghanistan

In late January 2008, a government-appointed commission headed by former Liberal cabinet minister John Manley released a report on Canada’s mission in Afghanistan. The report recommended that Canadian troops should keep fighting in that country, but only if certain conditions are met.
