Jacques Parizeau: A Founder of Modern Quebec

Jacques Parizeau is one of the most well-known and respected figures in Quebec’s modern politics. After coming close to succeeding in leading the province of Quebec to sovereignty in 1995, the former premier died on June 1, 2015 at the age of 84.  Whether sovereignist or federalist, no one could be left indifferent when Jacques Parizeau was involved.
