CBC Short Docs is a mainstay of CBC’s digital programming and the go-to destination for Canadians looking for engaging, character-driven, short (under 30 minutes) documentary content by emerging documentary filmmakers from across Canada. CBC Short Docs has already made a significant mark on the Canadian documentary landscape. Frame 394 was shortlisted for an Oscar nomination, and many other Short Docs had their world premieres and won awards at festivals worldwide, including Hot Docs, IDFA, ImagineNative, RIDM, Sheffield and TIFF.
