In the ultimate forensic challenge, a crack team of investigators comprised of a forensic scientist, a psychologist and a detective must identify a mystery target using the power of forensic science alone. In each episode, these experts stake their professional reputations against odds of 313 million to one in a nationwide manhunt to find one exceptional individual; a person who has achieved sporting excellence, has survived a disaster or excels at a particular physical, artistic or mental skill. The rules are simple: they can use any forensic data modern science can provide to identify one person out of the population of the entire United States. By combining this with old fashioned detective work, their challenge is to hunt down their target and unravel the person’s story by pooling their unique skills. Produced by National Geographic.
