This year, to mark Canada's 150th and explore the theme of what it means to live in Canada, we hosted the #StandForCanada contest. Here are some of the highlights of entries received from K-12 classes across Canada. Watch the videos below or check out some of the written submissions we received, including poems, short stories, and a very funny play!
You can continue to explore themes of citizenship and identity by downloading our StandForCanada teacher resource guide, developed in partnership with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Plus keep an eye out for What’s Your Story? - A Canada 2017 Yearbook. This CBC/Radio-Canada publication will be available for free in English & French in early December on iTunes.
