News in Review Deadly Bacteria Strike Canadians

In mid August 2008, an outbreak of deadly Listeria bacteria led to a massive recall of contaminated lunch meats and other products. By early September, 12 people had died. In this News in Review story we’ll look at listeriosis and what is being done to improve the safety of the food we eat.
