In late January, a popular revolt erupted in Egypt. Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians took to the streets to demand the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. When Mubarak refused, violent clashes broke out and the country descended into a near state of anarchy. In this News in Review story we’ll look at why so many Egyptians want change and where their revolt could lead.
