The National History Lost: Canada's Historical Buildings

This program visits sites across Canada to reveal efforts being made to preserve old and not-so-old architectural treasures. New mundane buildings that don't last are replacing older and aesthetically beautiful buildings that are lost forever. The federal government has introduced tax incentives to discourage this rampant destruction. When profit is more important than aesthetics, what can be done? What price do we pay for this cultural vandalism?
