News in Review Juno Beach: Sixty Years Later

In June 2004, Canadians took part in ceremonies to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Some of the Canadian veterans who stormed ashore at Juno Beach returned to the towns and villages they liberated and were greeted as heroes. In this News in Review story we'll look at Canada's role in the largest military invasion in history. We also show you how veterans from both sides remembered that pivotal event 60 years later.
