Summer 2012 and the eyes of the world will be firmly focused one single sporting arena: London’s Olympic Stadium. Designed to be different, this is the world’s first ‘demountable’ Olympic Stadium. After the games are over, like a transformer toy, the stadium is designed to be scaled down from an 80,000 seat venue to a 25,000 seat sustainable arena.
