CBC News Students Ask CBC News: COVID-19 treatments and vaccines, social distancing rules, masks

In this video, host Carole MacNeil discusses questions from high school students on COVID-19 with Dr. Lisa Barrett from Dalhousie University's Division of Infectious Diseases. This is the second in a series of videos that CBC News will be producing to answer questions from students across Canada.

Teachers, if you know a high school student with questions about the global pandemic, send questions to COVID@cbc.ca. Use the subject line “Students Ask CBC News” and don’t forget to include your high school’s name and location. (Please note that students' first names, school and/or location may be broadcast.)

Student questions could be answered live on CBC News Network and responded to by email from our Ask CBC team. Watch Ask CBC News on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBC News Network. Plus we'll share the answers here on Curio.ca.
