National Geographic Documentaries Superpride

Meet the Transects Pride. An average pride has four to five lionesses. The Transects have double that. But a great pride isn't measured by the number of lionesses it has, but by their success bringing forth life. The Transects are champion breeders. Hundreds of lions across the Serengeti trace their roots to this dynasty. They are a Superpride. Several times in their history, this pride has exploded. It could again. Why here? The answers are concealed inside the acacia woodlands, deep inside Transect Territory. As the storm clouds gather and the rainy season begins, the herds begin to arrive.
