News in Review The Killing of Sammy Yatim

Another police shooting in Toronto this past summer left 18-year-old Sammy Yatim dead on a city streetcar. His death became the rallying cry for people who say the police are too heavy handed.  The incident raises questions about how police forces deal with violent aggressors and whether or not more training is required to teach them how to deal with the mentally ill.
