Vaccines have long been hailed for preventing the spread of illness and reducing child mortality. But they have their detractors, too. In the case of the recent measles outbreak in North America, health officials blame the spread on a recent wave of so-called anti-vaxers. Is this a natural backlash to the flaws in vaccines or a trend that could have dangerous side effects?
